Am researching Wurth-Stumpf-Ohr-Duckworth families of Campbell Co., Ky with Stumpf connections to Hesse-Kassel Germany about 1850. Duckworth connections to 1850 in Allegheny Co., Maryland. Wurths connect to Dundenheim, Germany 1800. Ohr family separated by 1870 possibly from Pennsylvania or Virigina.
The Black family can be traced to Buncombe Co., N.C. area 1870, Franklin D. Black CSA veteran died @ Rock Island POW camp in 1864. Ebed Jones family from the same area also related. Humphrey(s) family debate over spelling from Anderson/Knox Co., Tn. region, traced to approximately 1900.
