About Our Family Research

PADBERG, CAVANAGH, SLATTERY, REIKOWSKI, MORIARTY AND DORAN
My Irish-German lineage has been blessed by several people who have done extensive research and have found some German records that trace back to the 1600's and those darn Irish records we cannot get past the early 1800's.
KENNY's from Castletown, County West Meath, Ireland arrived in Marquette, Michigan around 1870's
DIXON's from Northumberland, England arrived in Ottawa in 1819,
SCHNEIDER's from Kehrig, Germany arrived in Gross Point, Illinois in 1848, Martin moved to Springwells, Michigan.
O'BRIEN's from County ? (maybe Cork), Ireland arrived in the Ontario in the 1820's,
BRASCH's are from Berlin and came around the 1890's,
O'KEEFE's are from County Kerry and settled in Kingsbridge, Ontario
KORTE's from Duningham Germany settled in Springwells, Michigan 1848's
PADBERG's came from Cobbenrode, Germany and settled in Springwells, Michigan 1853
