A review of United States Federal Censuses 1790-1930 for the states of MD,PA,VA,WV,OH,IN,IL,IA,KY,NE,KS,MO,OK,TX,and NC.
Thanks to the wonderful work of earlier researchers, I can trace pedigree to the early 1600's in the Palintate.
Will utilize data base to assist decendants to gain recognition in either the NSDAR or Sons of the Revolution due to the Patriot Status gained by our ancestors.
Two SCHAUSS individuals are currently granted this patriot status. Futher research can no doubt identify more.
Necessary investigations include this emmigrant's involvement with the Moravian Church in the states of PA and NC.
Emmigrant SCHAUSS's first native born child was Johan Conrad SCHAUSS b. Jan. 07, 1737/38 in "Falckner's Schwamm"- anglicizaded to Falkner Swamp- now Montgomery Co. PA
