I began my family research in and about july 10, 1982, in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have always had an interest of my geneology background, especially my great grandparents, as to who were they, [such as their rank,Chief,Doctor,Warlords, etc.] did their parents come from another Island before reaching Kona, Hawaii? Gathering information has been hard, too many holes or gaps, such as years, or months thats lost or unaccounted for. still it's fun and I enjoy it. Finally, on July 4, 2002, I attended my first, the first of the first ever, family reunion, which was held at Milolii Beach, just before South Point ,Kona. I met a whole lot of my relatives there and had a great time. About 8 months now since the reunion, I still continue to collect and try to evaluate my sources of information I pick up, here and there.
