The Harris family came to Kansas in 1910 from Virginia. My father, John Orbin Harris, was born in White Shoals, Va., aka Hagan, Va., 11/14/1899. My Grandfather Andrew Jackson Harris was born 4/5/1868 probably in Virgina. We think his father's name was Alexander Harris and his mother's name may have been Sarah. I think my Grandparents were married about 1887 at Cedar Hill Christian Church. Grandmother Harris had been married and widowed before she married Andrew. Her name was Winnie Lee Morelock Hall Harris. I have some information about her family.
