The Kipp/Hatcher/Carver/Coker/Bridges Family

Updated May 16, 2009

About Our Family Research

My research of over 50 years has determined that my Kipp Family Line descended from Ruloff De Kype of France (b circa 1510)

The Kip/Kipp family motto "Vestigia Nulla Retrorsum" is loosely translated from the Latin to mean "Take No Step Backward".

GO TO . http:/www.familytreedna.com and locate the KIP/KIPP FamilyDNA Group.
Project Background:
The Kip/Kipp DNA Project is for those in the direct male line or the direct female line who wish to work together to find their common heritage through DNA testing and sharing of information. Surname variations include Kipp and Kip. Testing would be done on direct male lines for these surnames, using the Y-DNA test.

Other lines seem to have originated in not only the UK but also possibly from the Vikings as far back as the 800's with most notable findings in Norman France. I have devoted most of my research on the French Kipp line. I welcome all inquiries and any Gedcoms you may want to share. Of course, I will share mine too!

Happy Ancestor Hunting!
