I've just started this endeavor and it has shown itself to be a TON of work! So far I've traced back a few generations on my mother's side, but my maternal Grandfather's family - the Youngs - and my father's side of the family - the Kirchners - are very hard to find anything on. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated!
So far I need information on:
-Orville Frank Kirchner Sr. born: 10/25/1923 died: 1/27/1988
-His wife Marcella Scott, and their ancestors
-John Joseph Young Jr. b. 6/25/1906, Rochester NY d. 3/1981 CA
-John Joseph Young Sr. b & d unknown, Rochester NY
-John Sr's Wife, Mary Antoinette Cochrane and her family
-The Young Ancestors
-The Tacy Family and their ancestors
I've really only gotten as far as my G-g-g-g-grandparents on the Tacy side. I know they came from France and Canada, but not much else. On the Young side I've only gotten as far as my grandfather and his father. With the Kirchners I've only gotten as far as my Grandfather Orville "Skip" Kirchner Sr.
There aren't very many people alive in my family that can tell me any information about my ancestors. Those that are alive weren't really told much in the first place. Either way, this is a lot of fun, and a lot of work. I'm hoping someone can help me find out about my family. Thanks!
