My name Is Melissa Kirk and I am trying to assemble a family tree from both sides of my family. My mother is Linda Lou Ebbert nee Bowes. Her parents are George L Bowes& Orma Bowes (wilcox). In turn His parents are Mr& Mrs George W Bowes .Now, My grandfather, George L bowes had 6 brothers and sisters. His father was Georgw W. Bowes married to Margaret Mable Sayer. George W.'s Father was William Bowes married to Esther Langdale. William and Esther had 9 Children. 6 were born in England and 3 in Crawford Co Pa. William's parents were John Bowes and Mary Copeland. Both were born and died in England. Leigh and Blanche Wilcox (Lord).Are my grand mothers Parents. As for The Ebbert side, My father is George William Ebbert Jr. His Parents are George William Ebbert Sr. and Alice Ebbert (Voorhies). In turn thier parents areFredrick Ebbert and his wife Esther Laura Ebbert (Grute) and mary Voorhies (maiden name also unsure of) .The first name of Mr. Voorhies is unknown to me at this time .
