I am researching the decendents of James Sias b. 5/18/1778 ; d. 3/23/1865. He appears to be the father of James William Sias b. c. 1812 who married Rebecca Adkins (d/o Parker Adkins) .James and Rebecca's son, James Wilson Sias , b.12/11/1839 ; d. 1905 (m. Lousia Hunter) was paternal my g-g-grandfather.Another son of James William,Andrew Lewis Sias, b. 5/28/1842 ; d. 1894-96 (m. Martha "Ellen" Lambert) was my maternal g-g-grandfather. James Sias Sr.(m. Sophia Corbin) appears to have been the only brother from the original Sias Line ( in and around VT and NH) to have traveled to and settled in WV.

William and Gertrude (Sias) Frye (27 KB) -Gertrude was the d/o Henry Hampton (b. 9/5/1873) and Emily (Elkins) Sias. She was the granddaughter of my maternal g-g-grandfather, Andrew Lewis Sias (s/o James William and Rebecca (Adkins) Sias). Andrew was married to Martha "Ellen" Lambert and was b. 5/28/1842.
