HI my name is Sharon we discovered about 13 years ago that my dad had been adopted by his father Henry Charge although his mother Grace Charge was his real mum. We found out that his real father was called Rex Vivian Drewry D.O.B 13th January 1910 he died at the age of 27 from TB when my dad was only 3 years old. My grandmother Grace had my dad out of wedlock at the age of 18, Rex Drewry was already married to a lady called Helen? The parents of Rex were called Edgar and Mable Adelade. My mum has a copy of Rex birth and death certificate. We know Rex came from the Shefield area and then moved to London where he met my nan, we also know that he was an insurrance salesman. Sadly a couple of months after my nan told my mum all this she passed away, my grandfather never spoke about any of this to us and he has now died to. Sorry to throw a spanner in all your hard works but as you can see it looks like another line to the Drewry history as my dad who is 68 now has four children Jon 46, me Sharon 44 Peter 40 and Leisse 36 and between us we have 13 children and i have 1 grandchild. So if any one out there can help we would love to here from you.
