23 Dec 1999 I have just updated this Home Page but please excuse imperfections: particularly in Scotland c1800 details are of BEATON connections are difficult to confirm: Catherine McNeil descended from Nicholsons of Glenmore, Isle of Skye & McNeil Isle of Barra. I have some details but need help.
KNIGHTS:
My Father's family traced to 1823 in Runham, Norfolk. Connected to Lyon family (inc. gov. of Banff Prison) Aberdeen much information given by Alicia McMillan in New Zealand

TICKNER:
My Mother's family traced to c1600 in Godalming, Surrey but, in c 1845, three brothers walked to Sawston, Cambridgeshire looking for work and another branch of the family became established.

Brown / McBROWN:
My wife's family. (Malcolm Brown with Scottish connection "Mac" changed his name upon marriage in 1867). Traced to c1800 to Forest Hill, Kent. 1911, one family moved to Haslemere, Surrey. Connected to Style in 1884 via Miller probably from Langley Park, Beckenham Kent. An earlier family link was made in 16C.

I am particularly interested in establishing the parents of Alice Maud MILLER born 6 April 1862 (birth registration not found) died 15 April 1934 and married on Whit Monday 1884 at St. Saviour's Church, Forest Hill (formerly Brockley), Kent to Arthur Valentine Peters.

Traced to 1475 in Ipswich, Suffolk. Soon after, the family moved to Wateringbury, near Maidstone, Kent.
