Jonathan B. Cunningham, 1838-1915, married Edith Holder, 1844-1903. They came from Ashville, North Carolina during the Civil War and settled near English, Indiana. Edith was killed in a tornado in 1903. They had 7 children: Sherman, Alice, Claude, Mary, Maude, Sheridan, Frank.
Sherman, 1867-1924 is buried in Princeton, Indiana, as is his wife. Sherman married Margaret Highfill, of Crawford Co. They had 10 children: Nellie Mae, Charles Emmet, Edward Earl, Herman Clark, Sherman Russell, Leo Carl, Anna Edith, Perry Ellis, Marjorie June, Grace Esther.
Jonathan is buried in the Cunningham Cemetary in English, In., also his wife.
