My family consists of a motley crew to say the least. My grandmother has had four sons, all of which have been married at least once and have children. It is needless to say that I have three uncles. THe oldest, has been married twice and he is currently living in Washington. His second, and current wife, has had no children with him. However she has had two children from two different previous marriages. My father is the second oldest. My father, mother, and I live in California. He has two children from a former wife. One is ten years older than me and the other is eight years older than me. Before I go on about my other uncles I shall talk a little about my half-sisters. The one that is ten years older than me is married with no kids. And, the one that is eight years older than me has two kids( at the ages of three and one), and a boyfriend. Both of my sisters live in California. Now back to my uncles! The third oldest brother has been married once and had no kids in that realtionship. In his current relationship, however, he has three children they are also living in California. The eldest is a boy of thireen, the middle child is a girl at the age of nine, and the youngest child is a boy at the age of six. My thrid uncle is the youngest child of my grandmother. He has only been married once and it is a very succesfull marriage. They live in New Mexico with their two kids. The eldest is a boy at the age of seven and the younger is a girl at the age of five. My grandmother lives in California and has the house that all or most family occasions are held. All that can come down for Christams, Easter, and Thanksgiving at her house. She has a pool that all the grandkids have used since we were babies for hours in the endless, hot summer days. The Koller family has had threereunions since I have been born. The first was in Tahoe, where my grandmotehr was born. I was only a baby and do not remember teh experience. The second reunion was on Orcas Island in Washington. My youngest uncle was teaching at a French Camp there and we all went there for a thanksgiving while the campers were away. I was only five but I remember the trip with happiness. The third reunion that I can remember was last summer. I was fourteen at the time and a lot of people could not make it. These three times were the only ones that were actually called reunions, but inreality we have had more get-togethers over holidays and special occasions that have brought more people. As it is said, "It's all in the timing". Though this may seem frank I do not no how else to explain my imeddiate family. When all congregated together there is, to put it plainly, a mass of people who are all some how rrelated and who all care and love eachother.
