About Our Family Research


Extended search of Slavic roots including Poland, Czechoslovakia (each republic), Ruthenia. Family mainly settled in western Pennsylvania - Johnstown,Somerset, Jerome & Armaugh.
Surnames had some spelling variations. Not everyone came to the US, so I have links missing - example: my maternal grandfather had several half siblings that never came to the US.
My paternal grandmother's maiden name "Cihra - cihrova" draws dead-ends. I even have a birth cert. copy from Slovakia. Some relatives changed to "Sehar". please visit & email with any ?'s or help. Thanks.
