Four generations of Mikolajczak's have been found during my family search. Kazimierz (sometimes found as Casimir) came to the United States in 1905. He married Josefa Tylczynski (sometimes referred to as Josie or Josephine)at St. Michael Church in Chicago, Illinois on July 6, 1910. Josephine and Kazimierz had four children; Theresa, Frank, Sally, and Bill.
Peter (Piotr) entered the United States in 1909 at the age of 17. He was born in Ocieka, Austrian-Poland. He had one brother and two sisters. He met and married Anna Gawel in January, 1913 at St. Michael Church in Chicago. Anna arrived in the United States when she was two years old. She was born in Palikowka, Poland; a small village just outside of Rzeszow. Peter and Anna had 11 children; six lived to adulthood. The six children are Edmund, Irene, Joseph, Florence, Henrietta, and Richard.
The family search continues for more information on Anna (Blazej Gawel & Aniela Pachorek) and Peter's parents (Simon Pawelek & Anna Zurek) and for Josephine (Andrew Tylczynski & Magdalene Krasinski) and Kazimierz's parents (Maleusz Mikolajczak & Mary Anna Mazurek).
