Looking for relatives in the Roberts Rodgers Dixon and Kovach family mostly in KY and early Virginia. William G. Roberts is my Great-grandfather. Lived in Shelbyville. KY. Wilaim B. Dixon is my other Great Grand Father. He is buried in the Lexington cemetery, military section. Civil war vet.
Richard Dixon and Elizabeth Roberts Dixon are grand parents. Both are buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lexington, Ky. The 1930 census for "Lizzie" Dixon shows my mother Sara Jane 15 living at home with her mother in Lexington, Ky. Sara and my dad John Louis Kovach are also buried in Hillcrest cemetery.
My dads parents came from Roumania in 1910 through Ellis Island. They settled in East Chicago, IN. My original grandfather on his side was George Edward Rotar. He dissapeared and George Kovach came on the scene and adopted my dad. He passed away and my grandmother, Elizabeth, married Michael Kepics. They are buried in Hammond, In. She is in Elmwood Cemetery.
Recent family reunion, August 2006 in Harrodsburg, KY found a lot of relatives not seen for a long time.
