2. John Bearden Sr. b. abt. 1717, Isle of Wight, VA., and d. abt. 1797 in Spartanburg, SC. He married Lettice Winn abt. 1736 in Caroline Co, VA. Lettice Winn was b. abt. 1725 in VA. and died before 1790 in Spartanburg, SC. Daughter of Minor Winn and Margaret O'Conner.
Note: The Winn genealogy has been traced back to Sir John Wynne of Gwydir, Wales in the mid 1500's.
3. Richard D. Bearden was b. 6 Jul 1760 in Granville Co., NC and d. 21 June 1860 Dawson Co., GA
Notes: Richard was a patriot of the American Revoluton serving as a soldier from South Carolina.
