My ancestral family includes the family on my father's side (the Kudrick, Bartko, Kelhart, McDeshen, Koneyak, Kraynak, Lazar, Kudrik, Burkett, Scsur, Lipka, Began, Crans, Hrascs, Mudry and Michalek families) plus my mother's side (the Zokuskie, Zack, Russell, Dumblauskas, and Horwat families).

My paternal grandparents came from Hungary (now Slovakia) in the 1890s and settled in the anthracite coal mining region of northeastern Pennsylvania (Cranberry and West Hazleton in Luzerne County.)

My maternal grandparents came from Lithuania in the early 1900s and settled in Minersville and then Gilberton in Schuylkill County, PA.
