What I know to start this search is that my father, Alexander Thomson Kurz, Sr. was the son of Fred M Kurz and Minnie Myrtle Kurz. Fred M. Kurz' family immegrated from Germany and first settled in Ohio. I have heard that the German family should trace back to Great Great (?xs?) Grand Parents that were employed in Kaiser Wilhelm's household as a cook and a gamekeeper.
