I am researching John Karl August Krostag who married Louise Shelz in Prussia, Germany. He came to the United States and landed on Ellis Island In 1867. He was also known as August Krostag. He was my great-grandfather. Many of my uncles lived in Pennsylvania, and the others in Marathon County in Wisconsin.
I am also researching the names Huven Engmann and Weiland.
I am willing to share any information I have and would be happy to hear from anyone who can help me.
