Family starts with John H(enry) Morris married to a Annie (Hannah) Daniels. Both were born in Indiana. John in 1832 and Annie in 1843. Has several children born in Indiana: John H(ayes) Morris born in Douglas Co. Indiana-1875 m. Rosa Wilkins of Shelby, Indiana; Emily born 1978 m. Thomas Underwood, Ida born 1868 m. William Brown, Ada born 1870 m. Cain Canales then Henry Jackson; Nancy born 1863 m. John Brown; James V. born 1874 m. Alice Tumbleson then Florie Bowen; and William born 1893 m. May Ross.

Looking to go back from 1870 where I have found then in Cole Co. Ilinois. Parents hail from Kentucky according to all census records, but don't have parent names. Also can't seem to find the senior John and Annie after 1880 in Kansas. Don't know death dates.

The extended Morris Family holds a reunion every two years (even number).
