About Our Family Research


The La Dores moved to Palatine, Illinois in 1964 from Nito,WV. Thomas La Dore's family is from Port Chester, NY. His wife, Geneva Tanner's family is from Servia, Braxton County, WV. Our search includes the La Dores of New York; The Tanner's of Clay and Braxton County, WV.; and the Stalnakers of WV.

Each year we have a George W. Tanner cousins family reunion in Lottrigde,OH on or about June 21. Lottridge is about 1/2 hour east of Athens, OH.
