I am trying to find something out about the early Lagow family. I have been told that while Texas was still under the rule of Spain, the Lagows were given permission by the Spanish government to settle in Dallas, Texas. They are responsible for the first schools and churches, etc in Dallas during that time period.
I would like to locate some of that family history if at all possible.
Also I have been told that the Lagows first originated in Poland.
If anyone can help me I sure would appreciate it.
