My name is francis joseph lagan.I was born 7-2-52 in Coleraine,N.Ireland.My family home is Lisnamuck,nr Maghera,Co.Derry.My father,s name was Patrick joseph lagan,born 10-8-1911 and my mother was Annie Mc Elwee born april,1913.She was from Bellaghy,Co.Derry,but sadly passed away when i was three years old.My cousins still live in lisnamuck.Seamus is the eldest and currently the Headmaster of a local School.His sister Evelyn is living in Bromley and working as a psychiatric nurse(i think) in a private clinic.His other sister Kathleen is also a teacher and local councillor.Seamus also has two brothers,Peter and Brendan.Peter has recently passed away,aged 46 Years.I am married with three chrildren.My wife,s name is Sally born 17-9-1965.My children are Sophie(19-6-1985),Annie(25-7-1987) and Patrick(9-11-89).We currently live in Corby,NORTHANTS. My mother's family hail from bellaghy,where she was one of 12 children.Her father was James Mc Elwee(mexican jim).He was so-called because he spent his early years making a small fortune working on the railroads in the USA(1881-1905approx).That period of his life i know very little of but would like to know more,if anybody can help i would like to hear from them.Also if anyone can improve on the Lagan family tree i would be equally as grateful.
