Welcome to our family. The Lagasses (Lagacé) of St-Flavien, Quebec; the Ross' of Capuchin, Quebec; the Knights of Poland, Maine via Marblehead, MA; the Waterhouses of Poland, Maine that came from Barrington, New Hampshire; and the Howards of Auburn, Maine, originally from Massachusetts. The Waterhouses and the Knights had men in the Civil War and the American Revolution.Sewall Waterhouse was killed at the First Battle of Bull Run. And George Waterhouse was a first responder after the Battle at Lexington of the American Revolution and was given the title Captain by those he led. The Knights are directly related to the Ricker family that began the Poland Spring Water Company and the Resort in the 1870's in Poland Spring, Maine. The journey has led us to the highlands of Scotland and to the islands off the western coast of France. A trip taken, thus far, by research; but one day it may be used as opportunities to travel.
