I am having difficutlty finding links to the LaGoy side of my family. I know my Grandfather was Harold Francis LaGoy, and that he died January 13, 1945. In my research it seems that the LaGoys settled in Clinton County NY once they arrived here. There was even a LaGoy Brothers Lumber Camp, I know one of the brothers was named David. I also know that my Uncles Herbert, and Emery lived and died in Merchantville NJ, and that I have relatives there named Philips or Phillips. My father Francis Harold LaGoy was born in Washington Township, in Gloucester Country, at Grenlock (or Grenloch) Terrace in NJ on August 29th 1928. On his birth certificate, his name and his fathers name are misspelled as LeGoy. My grandfather married my Grandmother Rosanna Lavigne from Adams Ma. However, I have also been unable to find any marriage records for them. I do have my grandfathers SS card, but when I put in the SS index, it comes up as unknown, it was issued in 1937. As you can see I need any help I can get.
