My parents are Rudolph "Dock" Sturgeon & Mary Catherine Theiler. I am the oldest of 5 children. Bettie Ann, William "Billy" Rudolph, Sharon Louise, Linda Rose, Jackie Leo. My parents were divorced when I was about 8 or 9 and I did not have the opportunity to know my paternal grandparents very well.What I do know is my grandfather was Richard Eugene Sturgeon born Oct 25, 1893 died December 25, 1974 Grandmother Hallie Jan Fields born April 20, 1895 died May 10, 1972. They are from Hart County Kentucky. They are buried in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery in Louisville, Ky. They had both been married before. They resided at 561 Tallulah St in Louisville, Ky. They had 7 children. Rudolph,Ernest, Marvin,Velma,Clara,Effie Mae,Edna. Richard had a brother named Walker & a sister named Effie Mae. He may have had other sisters & brothers. These are the only ones I know of. Hallie's brother & sister was Roy, Homer, Albert Bryant, Robert, Charles, Oma, Bessie. I think Bessie married a Braun. I had a couple of cousins named Jeannie & Delores. I think their last name was Hargrove. They had a brother but I don't remember his name. I think Richard's dad was Rev. James J. "John" Sturgeon.His mother may have been Beverly Knight. I haven't found any more information on Hallie about who her parents were. I am 61 yrs. old now and would love to find any lost relatives.
