I've just recently started this project after the Young family reunion in Nevada, MO. The Lamb side of my family is mostly from Rock Island & Whiteside Counties in Illinois. I am stuck on my great -great grandfather- Benjamin Lamb who came here from somewhere in Vermont when he was 13 years old. His wife Rachel Cook Lamb can be traced back to English royalty including Princess Diana. My grandfather on my mom's side was Benjamin L Saathoff. I believe he came to Nevada, MO from Bremmer West Germany. My mom's mother was Corlys Sue Saathoff (Young). Her mother was Zilpha A. Jones. Her father was Jone Jones (AKA McSwain). He changed his name because he killed a man. His wife was Arrena Hatfield. I understand that she is part of the Hatfield family that is so famous with the feud with the McCoys. Any help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
