The Walker/Hicks/Wood families of NC includes Quakers, Irish and royalty throughout the years. Included are ancestors and descendants.
I started with practically nothing when I began this family tree and I will be working on it for some time to come. I have had no family to rely on as most of my family is already deceased. Our family bible offers little to go on. The search for my ancestors has been very hard. This is a challenge I have welcomed these past few years. I have learned alot about my family and there is still alot more to learn. Alot of time has been spent in libraries and cemeteries. I hope this is a legacy my decendents will cherish and hopefully continue to carry on what I have worked so hard to accomplish.
