Now that we have discovered our Australian Connections its time to try and find our Northampton, England roots.
Any information relating to the family Of John Peter Langford (born circa 1812-13) and transported to Sydney on the "Fairlie" (leaving England 27 Oct 1833 arriving sydney 15 Feb 1834). He was 21 on arriving in sydney leaving a wife and child both unknown behind and later marrying Jane Darling in Scotts Church, Sydney in 1842.
His father is also believed to be John Langford, an auctioneer/stock and station agent in Nothampton.
John Langfords abound so this is not going to be an easy task!
