Our Quinn Family research was begun to satisfy a curiosity of the "unknown". After walking through numerous cemeteries and writing down tombstone information, working with the internet and the telephone, this has been a very rewarding experience in accomplishing the discovery of just who we are and where we originated as a family. With the assistance of innumerable persons, our past has been given a life filled with much history and many years of "yarns and stories". Traces of our families have been spread from the Eastern Seaboard to the plains of Texas, and into the upper Ohio Valley and, finally, into the Southern States. With determination and perserverance, the work of unraveling our past has become a reality for some of us Quinns. There are still many lanes to travel down in which we may discover much more information about the different leaves of this particular family tree.
As for having a reunion, the only reunions I have been made aware of, are those of individual families. It is my deepest wish to one day be able to send messages for a great Quinn Clan reunion and to see persons from the Loftin Quinn and Mary Canady
Quinn family unite for a special gathering of all "the clans". This is my most sincere goal and I hope I live long enough to achieve it and see others who are striving, just like me, to accomplish this one thing we have in common, OUR QUINN FAMILY.
