Updated February 12, 2004

Here is all my genealogical research to date. 99% of this tree is oral family history. I'm putting this up on the web for family review and input. If you see something wrong or have additional information please email it to me. Feel free to give as much info as you have including family I've missed, dates and places of birth, death, marriage, divorce, etc. If anyone has SSNs of deceased family that would be very helpful for pulling their birth records. Also if anyone has any family history about immigration to the U.S. (e.g. Ellis Island records such as country of origin or ship's name or year of immigration) that would be helpful. I'm pretty much stuck at Ellis in trying to take either the Larson or Davis lines back any furthur.

If anyone has info on the Davis/Deduis name relationship let me know. I got from the oral history somewhere that the original name was Deduis but I can't find that surname in any listings online. Is the spelling wrong? Help me out if you can.

Also I understand my grandfather, Charles Lambert Larson, emigrated to U.S. from Sweden. I'd love to follow this line back to the old country but I need more info on when he came and what his parents' names were.

Thanks all!

UPDATE: February 2004. Through my aunt, Gail Vangilder, I've made a contact with a member of a whole new branch of my family tree. My 2nd cousin (once removed) Douglas has been doing research on his family tree. We connect back at my great-great-grandfather, Lars Larsson (Gotta love that name -- and the double 'S' is very cool). Where did our other S go? Lost at Ellis Island is my guess. Should we bring it back? All those in favor say aye!

Thanks to Doug's information I've added two new levels to the tree. In addition to Lars we also know of his father-in-law Carl Fibelkorn from Germany. This gives the tree seven generations to study. Carl is my son Evan's Great Great Great Great Grandfather. I think that's really, well, great!
