Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum

I am researching several names -- some on my side and some on my wife's. On my side, I am interested in the family of Jeremiah Laswell, John Ball, Samuel W. Dean and Lena Rivers Williams. I have a grandmother whose family name is Clark (same family line as that of Gen. George Rogers Clark). Jeremiah may have came from Indiana, although that is not certain. John Ball's first record in the American Colonies dates from about 1670 in the counties of Fairfax and Stafford in Virginia (around Washington, DC). Samuel Dean was born in Kentucky, but his family may also have come from Virginia. My wife's families came from Norway and Sweden. The family names we are researching on her side are Myrmel, Anderson, Sundell and Norberg. All of these families came from Scandinavia during the late 1800's. I know most of the family history of these families while they have been in the United States, but very little in their countries of origin.
I would like to correspond with anyone who is researching the same names.
