My name is Skip Lassiter and I live in the heart of Dixie in the Great State Of Georgia and a great city, Columbus, Georgia.
I was born in the South - I was raised in the South and I will die and be buried in the South. The last fifteen years I have researched my paternal and maternal lines of my family and am proud to say that we have served the "Republic" well. I myself was a United States Marine serving during the Viet Nam War in 1969 and 1970 as probably many other Lassiter's unknown to me who also served with Pride and Honor.
I was once asked as to my passion and devotation to my research. Each of us goes thru life gathering many things. Some wealth - some knowledge - some enlightment. Some of these we may pass on to our son's and daughter's. For me I came to a resolve that I was not to pass on wealth. My legacy to my children and grandchildren will be who they are. They are the on going seed of the people who help create the greatest "Republic" known to man.

I hope the information and updates will help others along in finding their legacy. Protect it and minister to it, our Good Name seems to be all that may be left.
