I am the son of Joseph Francis (Harry) Lawlis and Judith Anne Hawes.
The vast majority of the research that has been done on the Lawlis family tree has been done by Ian Shields from Ottawa Canada. Ian is my first cousin and the son of Mary Lawlis and Williams Shields.
My mother is a Hawes. She is the daughter of Gertrude Murphy (Nove Scotia, Canada) and Malcolm Joseph Hawes (Nova Scotia, Canada). The Hawes family tree was compiled by my first cousin James David Hawes (Sudbury, Canada)
