About Our Family Research
We are the Lawsons of Johannesburg, my Grandfather changed his name on immigrating from Oslo, Norway. He worked as a Baker in Johannesburg in the early 1900's. My Grandmother had three children with my Grandfather, from whom I was born to the eldest son. I in turn have five children of my own, My middle daughter has immigrated to Denmark. I am the middle child. My sister is the eldest, and has three children, mu Brother is the youngest, and he has two children. We as a family have varied get togethers. My 60th Birthday was a special occassion. My eldest daughter did all the arrangements. Both my Brother and Sister and their children and grandchildren, together with my childrend and grandchildren attended this occassions, which was held on my sisters farm, and enjoyed by all. I tell you it was quite something blowing out 60 candles.
