Well I have been at this for several years, I have always been interested in the research. But mostly Scottish Heritage. I have a cousin who also showed interest, which was wonderfull. So this became a great source of enthusiasm for both.
This has not been an easy task by any means, I realize it is not for anyone,however if I can scrounge any more info or perhaps be of help to anyone else ,it will be worth all.
The family are of course OGILVIES, mostly all in the same area of Scotland.The challenge lay in the fact poor grandfather did not even know where he was born or if he had any siblings.
Well there they are, born in Isle of Wight.To George Ogilvie.
William Ogilvie, and he has a Brother James.
Mother was the challenge,on Williams Cert. she is Clapshaw formerly Sismey.On James he is Biggs, Ogilvie.Fleet.
With that sorted(after3more yrs.)I am trying to move on.
NOW !!does anyone have any connections,So there it is as yet .More to come I hope soon.
