My name is now Marie Henson. My birth name is Marie Lawrence. I was born in Sasebo, Japan to John Edward Lawrence and Fukuko Aoshima. Dad is from Terre Haute, Indiana. He was married early and divorced. He had two little boys named John and Thomas and they were adopted to the Ready family. Dad was in the Navy and met mom in Japan right after the war. We came to the U.S. to Terre Haute and my sister Kathleen was born in 1959. We moved to North Kingston, RI and Jason was born in 1963. We moved a lot. Dad retired in San Diego. I finished High School in San Diego, got married to Rick Martin Bogart. We had two boys, Ricky jr and Austin Lawrence Bogart. I was divorced after 5 years. I moved to Oklahoma and married Terry Henson. We met in 1986 and married in 1988. We divorced in 1998. I graduated college at UCSD in 1991 with a Microbiology major and now work in the Pharmaceutical industry.
I want to research my ancestry on the U.S. side since it should be much easier.
