I am just getting statred trying locate my Nelson Family on my Father's side. My Grandmother was murdered when my father was only 22 months old. So,he and his siblings were for the most part seperated. My dad & 1 other sister went to live at Mills Home in Thomasville,NC, their baby brother was 2 months old at the time was adopted by a local policeman and wife,and as for my daddy's other 3 sisters they remained in the area with different familys. When my daddy was a teen of course he and his sisters were brought back together,and I have been blessed to grow up with my family. However my daddy wasn't so lucky. He has no known Nelson relatives that he is in contact with. However we have recently come in contact with 2 of his distant cousins. However I am looking to come in contact with All living Nelson family members whether we are 1st or 3rd cousins or futher back. I consider that family we share the same bloodline so that makes us family. If you have any information,please contact.
