1st the Lazarus
The Lazarus/Byrnes Story
The story goes....
My great great maby great Grandfather (not sure) came to America from England, we think in Newyork and settled in Pittsburgh Pennsilvania and changed are last name from Byrnes (not sure if thats the correct spelling) to Lazarus. It is said that he opened the bible to any page and pointed and he pointed to Lazarus. My Father James Dennise Lazarus dosn't really have much info on his fathers side of the family except that his father whos name was thomas lazarus was born in 1901 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania married Helen Marie Buckley June 20th 1931 and lived in Chicago Iillinois were he died around 1957s (not sure on the date yet) My father also has a brother name Thomas James Lazarus and a sister Dorothy Jean Lazarus-Johnson location unknowen.
2nd Elizabeth Cunliff
The Cunliffe story
The story goes...
My Grandmother Elizabeth Cunliffe born 1919 in England had a child at a young age out of wedlock. The story goes that she had gotten pregnent by a waelthy man at a young age. The man she had the child with took the boy away from her and took him home to his family. The last time she ever saw her son, he had told her that his mommy was dead. She never saw him again. Elizabeth later Married Frank Costello from Ireland and had a Daughter, her name is Margaret Lazarus my mother. A few years later they moved to America, were they now live in Illinois. I just found this info out from my mother, who said not to say anything to my grandmother because it would upset her to much. My sweet little gradmother dose worry her self sick alot, so their for i can't get any more info then that.
