The Leal family comes originaly from Spain, the last name Leal means loyal to God. The Leal family grew out of Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, later sprouted to San Fernando Tamaulipas Mexico, from there, during the "Brazero" period, the Leal Family Moved to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. The second generation mexican-american Alvaro S. Leal, Jr. graduated from high school with honors and received a scholarship to attend Stanford University. The new generation will probably outdo the old.
