About Our Family Research

The LeBeaus originally came from Malvern, Ohio to a farm in the Lake Cable area in Jackson Township in 1902. Married into the Stockert family & the Ramsire family which had reunions in the area. The LeBeau barn was said to be redone at a family barn raising where all the wood came from the woods. The farm consisted of 160 acres of which 132 were tillable. It was sold in 1966 to a developer and now consists of many homes like the rest of the neighboring farms.
