My name is Benoit Leclerc from Québec and is need some help to built my family tree. As a Leclerc, some research are sometimes difficult because some ancestors goes to U.S. between 1840-1860 period. My wish is to find parents of my great grand grand father and mother, Joseph Leclerc(or Auclair)1825-1916 and Délima(or Rose Délima) Gilbert 1833-1903, french canadians who probably married in New England's States. They had a unique son, Théophile, born in 1857. All of them lived and died in Dorchester Co., St-Malachie and Ste-Claire parrish. I made many recent research on databases from internet such as Bilodeau, Audet-Lapointe, Côté families and others and all the time, I'm stock on Théophile's parents; but I recently became member of ''Société de Généalogie de Québec'' and I had acces to Microfilm Data of some parrish; this is where I am.
