I am seeking any information about the family tree of the Clarence A. Thompson family. He was my grandfather and originally came from the Houston-Galveston area of Texas. He moved to Arkansas and worked for the railroad when he married my grandmother, Nora Virginia Watson. He owned grocery stores in Black Springs, Norman, And Hot Springs, Arkansas. He had two daughters, Iva Jean Thompson-Baily-Sleeper, Frances Isabelle Thompson-Lybrand, and a son James Riley Thompson. He died in April of 1985 at his home in Mt. Pine, Arkansas. His wife Nora is still living, she is 94 years old. He had an older half-brother Bill Phelps and a younger brother James Thompson both are deceased. I am seeking any information. Clarence Thompson's mother's maiden name was Durham and her family came from Tennessee. My grandfather was a vetran of World War II. Anyone with information to share may reach me at Elizabethalecrone@hotmail.com
