I am new to this geneology research. My grandfather James Crompton came from Bolton, Lancashire, England sometime in the early 1900's. His wife's last name was Longworth. My father's name was Frederick, born January 16, 1907 and died March 25, 1997. My father's brothers were Harold and Leonard. They had a sister Alice May who died at a very early age. I am interested in finding any information regarding my grandfather's background.
