Family Surnames include:
John Pharris/Abbie Ann Merritt; Johannes Christensen/Johanne Nicolaisen; John Liddy/Mary Ann Carr; Peter Lansworth/Anna Engebretsen. Having difficulty locating any information on my great grandparents John Liddy and his wife Anna Carr. Information I have says he immigrated from County Cork Ireland when he was 20 years old (b. 06/08/1840) and his wife from West Canada. He served in the Army and eventually homesteaded north of O'Neill,NE. Lots of information on the Merritt side of the family but little on the Pharris. Little information on the Christensen's other than they immigrated from Denmark Aug 1886 and settled for a while in Omaha before moving to Superior, NE. Traced the Pharris side back to a James William Pharris of Canton Fulton Co. Ill(b.03/02/1829). Would love to find info on the Liddy's and Pharris. Lansworth back to Ole Johnson Landsverk (b.02/02/1808)in Norway.
