I have found quite a bit of information on my family now. I am a decendant of William Riley Stricklin. William married Mary M. and they had five children. James M. born in 1824 and married a lady named Elizabeth. William Henry born in 1826, Elisha B. born in 1830, Ruth born in 1833, and Thomas L. born in 1835. I do not know who Willian Henry married but he had my great-great grandfather George Whiteman "Dock" Stricklin who was born in 1858. Now George married Elizabeth Sandlin in 1876 and had my greatgrandfather John Wesley Stricklin born in 1882 and John Wesley married Ida Clemons. Now John and Ida had 6 children. Clarence, Rosie, Lexie, Alford, Ford, and Ewell. Ewell Matthew is my grandfather and he married Mildred Versie Gunter in 1929. Ewell and Mildred had five children: Johnnie Bea, George Matthew, Robert, Jack, and Judith Ann. My father is George Matthew and I am the sixth of his seven natural children. There is Carol Peterson, James Ramsey, Cindy Ramsey, Lisa Dunn, Patty Weber, Lynn Lillibridge and Georgia Stricklin Jett.
