Several years ago, the "genealogy bug" hit me and I am not looking for a cure! This obsession has led me on a wild ride, covering all families that have connections to me.
The Landes Connection includes: Landes, Roberts, Stoner, Funk, Whisler, Beiler, Overholt, Lambert as direct ancestors with many associated family. Abraham Landes came to Philadephia in the 1700's and the family migrated to OH, IA and WI.
The Murray Connection includes: Murray, McGinn,Sheridan, Feehan, Leonard, Zulauf, Heidersdorf, Garland, Craney and many others. Zulauf's came from Germany and the Murray and McGinns from Ireland, locating in WI.
The Hommel Connection includes: Hommel,Pitzke, Furman, Newman, and Shielding coming from Germany and settling in WI.
The Lintereur Connection includes: Lintereur, Brault, Goedjen, Schwake, Gaudet, Robichaud, Houde, Lesage, Dupuis and others.
Goedjen and Schwake's came from Germany, while Lintereur and their ancestors came from Acadia and Quebec province to WI.
