About Our Family Research
I have started research on my family tree and am trying to trace my maternal Great grandmother, Elizabeth, in particular. She was married to a Herbert in South Wales but left him and her 2 children, Gladys May and Ivor in about 1907. She then remarried a farmer named Williams in Monmouth? and had 3 sons to him. She died in Cardiff hospital in the 1930s, i believe. My mother has never even seen a photograph of her grandmother or half-brothers and it would be a wonderful suprise to find any information as the family were led to believe that she had died long before they were born. I am also trying to trace the descendants of Graham Davies, my Grandfather's brother, who emigrated to Amarillo, Texas in the late 1800s. There is a connection to a beauty school in that area?
