Although the home page is named The Derry, Smith and Fairs of Wenathcee, Washington, my research has branched out in several areas with surnames including but not limited to, Lethcoe, Blue, Lavogue, Mcgonigal, Lisonbee, Curtis, Barritt and even more.
My research started out as a favor to my mother, Francis Marion (DERRY) Tolles. She lost her mother when she was just a small child. Never knowing her and having lost any contact with her mothers family, (Fairs in Wenatchee.) She asked to see what I could find about her lineage on both her maternal and paternal sides of her family. As any geneologist will tell you, once bitten, its all over. Now I spend many sleepless nights searching databases libraries and websites for any nugget of information I can find. And with some great success. Finding my mothers lost mother, Ethel Helen (FAIR) Derry, and her final resting place. a vital piece of the puzzle is solved. And my mother is at ease now knowing she will not be lost nor forgotten again with the recording of her family tree available for all to see. And the tree grows on. My gift to my mother yet her gift to me. Life continues.
